Get ready for the best that Broadway has to offer, Dallas!

The biggest hits on the Great White Way are headed to Dallas as part of the just-announced Dallas Summer Musicals 2018-2019 season at the historic Music Hall at Fair Park!

Broadway blockbusters Anastasia, Miss Saigon and Hamilton will be part of the upcoming season. The lineup will also include The Phantom of the Opera, Aladdin, Hello, Dolly! and Fiddler on the Roof. In addition, subscribers can choose to add highly-anticipated engagements of two favorites: Elf The Musical and The Book of Mormon.

ELF THE MUSICAL
November 27 - December 2

Elf The Musical is the hilarious tale of Buddy, a young orphan child who mistakenly crawls into Santa’s bag of gifts and is transported back to the North Pole. Unaware that he is actually human, Buddy’s enormous size and poor toy-making abilities cause him to face the truth. With Santa’s permission, Buddy embarks on a journey to New York City to find his birth father, discover his true identity, and help New York remember the true meaning of Christmas. This modern-day Christmas classic is sure to make everyone embrace their inner Elf. The New York Times says that Elf is "splashy, peppy, sugar-sprinkled holiday entertainment!" USA Today calls it, "endearingly goofy!" Variety proclaims, "Elf is happy enough for families, savvy enough for city kids and plenty smart for adults!" Based on the beloved 2003 New Line Cinema hit, Elf The Musical features songs by Tony Award nominees Matthew Sklar and Chad Beguelin (The Wedding Singer), with a book by Tony Award winners Thomas Meehan (Annie, The Producers, Hairspray) and Bob Martin (The Drowsy Chaperone).


THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA
December 19 - January 6, 2019
Cameron Mackintosh’s spectacular new production of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s The Phantom of the Opera has critics raving that this breathtaking production is "bigger and better than ever before" and features a brilliant new scenic design by Paul Brown, Tony Award-winning original costume design by Maria Björnson, lighting design by Tony Award winner Paule Constable, new choreography by Scott Ambler and new staging by director Laurence Connor. The production, overseen by Matthew Bourne and Mackintosh, boasts many exciting special effects including the show’s legendary chandelier. The beloved story and thrilling score—with songs like "Music of the Night," "All I Ask Of You" and "Masquerade"—will be performed by a cast and orchestra of 52, making this Phantom one of the largest productions now on tour.


THE BOOK OF MORMON

This outrageous musical comedy follows the misadventures of a mismatched pair of missionaries, sent halfway across the world to spread the Good Word. Now with standing room only productions in London, on Broadway and across North America, The Book of Mormon has truly become an international sensation. Contains explicit language.


ANASTASIA
February 19 - March 3, 2019
Inspired by the beloved films, the romantic and adventure-filled new musical Anastasia is on a journey to your city at last! From the Tony Award-winning creators of the Broadway classic Ragtime, this dazzling show transports us from the twilight of the Russian Empire to the euphoria of Paris in the 1920s, as a brave young woman sets out to discover the mystery of her past. Pursued by a ruthless Soviet officer determined to silence her, Anya enlists the aid of a dashing con man and a lovable ex-aristocrat. Together, they embark on an epic adventure to help her find home, love and family. Anastasia features a book by celebrated playwright Terrence McNally, a lush new score by Stephen Flaherty (music) and Lynn Ahrens (lyrics) with direction by Tony Award winner Darko Tresnjak.


HAMILTON
April 2 - May 5, 2019
Hamilton is the story of America's Founding Father Alexander Hamilton, an immigrant from the West Indies who became George Washington's right-hand man during the Revolutionary War and was the new nation’s first Treasury Secretary. Featuring a score that blends hip-hop, jazz, blues, rap, R&B and Broadway, the Tony Award- and Pulitzer Prize-winning Hamilton is the story of America then, as told by America now. With book, music and lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda, direction by Thomas Kail, choreography by Andy Blankenbuehler and musical supervision and orchestrations by Alex Lacamoire, Hamilton is based on Ron Chernow’s biography of Founding Father Alexander Hamilton.


MISS SAIGON
May 14 - 26, 2019

HELLO, DOLLY!

Winner of four Tony Awards, including Best Musical Revival, Broadway’s most beloved musical is back where it belongs! Directed by Tony Award winner Jerry Zaks and featuring choreography by Tony Award winner Warren Carlyle, Hello, Dolly! is "the best show of the year" (NPR). FIDDLER ON THE ROOF
August 7 - 18, 2019
